The latest results for the Louisiana Caring Communities Youth Survey (CCYS) are now available. The Louisiana CCYS is designed to assess students’ involvement in a specific set of problem behaviors, as well as their exposure to a set of scientifically validated risk and protective factors. The risk and protective factors have been shown to influence the likelihood of academic success, school dropout, substance abuse, violence, and delinquency among youth. Here you will find a link to the 2006 report for the State of Louisiana as a whole and the 2008 report for the State of Louisiana as a whole. Below you will find reports for each of the public school systems in the state.
Reports are also available by Department of Health and Hospitals Regional Service Districts and by Louisiana Department of Education Regions. Note that the DHH and LDE regions are not the same; there are different parishes that make up each. Here is a link to DHH regions and a link to the LDE regions.
